Hey guys, I don't know if this fits here or somewhere else or nowhere on this forum at all but.... Has anyone here ever found any cool coins or any historic anythings metal detecting? I'm thinking about getting a detector and going on some treasure hunts. Just wondering if any of you have ever found anything cool. Or have you found any cool coins or anything in general with or without a detector on any daily adventures? :eat: Pics?
I don't have a lot of time to do it, but I shot my backyard at my old house and found a handful of wheat cents - mostly under an old elm tree. The earliest was a 1917 and there were a couple of dimes and quarters but they were all more modern. I have thought I would like to do it, but cannot split away from coin roll hunting.
