Do you have a coin related screen saver, or desktop photo? Here is mine. I enjoy it every day at the office. The desktop program icons normally reside in the blue area surrounding the coin.
Something I have been working on. It's of the 'wowzer' coins that have passed through my hands this year. Can't wait to see how it looks at the end of the year...
I created a few folders I call "screen saver1,2,3". I place photos of coins by series> One for World Silver Crowns, US Type Set, Mexico Type set, etc. I alternate the screen saver option to display the photos using the album theme. I just change the folders from time to time so I get to watch a slide show of my favorite coins. I also change the desktop from time to time. Currently I am using a photo I took in Hawaii in 1998 while on a sunset cruise.
I suspect that more & more members are using smart phones & pads (for both taking photos & CoinTalk display). The desktop computer is going the way of the buggy whip.
Never. I have a smart phone, Galaxy SII. Awesome screen resolution and take super pics, but too small for my old eyes to navigate the web. I love my desktop. Thinking about changing my desktop wallpaper. I put it to a vote. Country Road. Taken on vacation in the Great Smokies. Big Buck, taken a few miles down that country road. Or Arizona Desert, taken in the Arizona Desert of course.
