Wondering what this would be worth despite not being slabbed. Any comments greatly appreciated. The first 2 pictures were taken with incandescent light and the last 2 taken using halogen lighting.
I fear the coin may have been cleaned. Notice the horizontal lines running through the date. Nice coin, but I don't think it would grade cleanly. As it sits, I wouldn't pay more than $1700.
Agree that it has been cleaned, and harshly. It would be in a details slab at best, and I would say worth 1/2 of what it could have been worth. Badly scratched. I would treat it price wise as a PF 55 cleaned, and value it around $1200 tops.
