Just wondering, are rotated reverse foreign coins collectible? I found a coin orientation 1872-H (actually looks like an "E" to me; very worn down) Straits Settlements cent. I would estimate the condition to be VG or so. I'll post pictures tomorrow, as the sun seems to be too low to take a good picture. Update. I was lazy again, and I couldn't figure out how to show the rotation. The flip is oriented such that the other side of the flip is "above" the coin in both pictures.:
I am no pro on foreign coins at all. That being said, I do know that Canadian coin reverses are rotated 180 degrees different than American coins. Do you have another one to compare it to. It may be correctly rotated. Just a thought.
The 1872 Straits Settlements Cent coin is usually in a medal orientation. The one I have is a coin orientation (nearly 180 degrees reverse of where it's supposed to be).
