Thoughts on HERENNIUS ETRUSCUS

    Looking at this coin to pick up. Not sure of the value but I like the design. To me has a lot of eye appeal. s-l1600.jpg

    Those are neat, big flans and such.

    I got the following from AMCC2 auction in 2019

    SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria, Antioch: Herennius Etruscus as Caesar (249-251) AR tetradrachm. 7th officina. 10.52g, 28mm.
    Obv: ЄPЄNN ЄTPOV MЄ KV ΔЄKIOC KЄCAP, Bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed bust right; Z below
    Rev: ΔHMAPX ЄΞ OVCIAC / S C, Eagle standing left on palm branch, holding wreath in beak.
    McAlee 1153g; Prieur 640.

    It has some issues but was cheap enough that I couldn't let it go

    Herennius Etruscus...1st Roman emperor killed in battle(his father killed later on the same day)...a must have for a Roman collection :) IMG_0563.JPG IMG_0564.JPG
