ok I have been giving this some thought , and I like them a bit but I was wondering about collecting conder tokens from the 17 & 1800's are they cool a lot of unique images... anyone know of some good guide books..???
Not sure of the books as they are not something I have dug into yet but I know we have a few with great condor collections here. I'm sure one of em will tell you which book is the best to start with.
Search the word "conder" at CT and you will find many reasons to collect them. Here are a couple threads that you may find interesting. In one of them, Conder101 provides some advice on reference books. :thumb: http://www.cointalk.com/t82300/ http://www.cointalk.com/t50454/ http://www.cointalk.com/t50857/ was this post useful?
Dalton and Hamer put out the standard book on Conders. I believe Conder101 can give you better info on the latest references. Of course they are worth collecting. THey are very attractive, desirable, collectible coins. Heck, whole organizations and groups are organized around only collecting these. If I had more time, resources, and a longer attention span I would like to collect these. As much as I seem to try, you cannot collect everything. Btw OP, I have a copy of Dalton and Hamer. I never really use it, just kind of glanced through it. If interested, I can give you the specifics, and maybe we could work out some sort of trade.
