1958 D Struck out of collar? Or partial collar? Whats the difference?

    Diameter is slightly smaller than normal, weighs 3.08 grams, obverse fields are domed (kinda looks like high relief), reverse fields are wavy (high on the right, low on the left) , true railroad edge. Found in roll years ago.

    Nope, just looks like it was encased at one point. Maybe in a pendant, jewelry, or as a "lucky penny". Post-strike damage.
    Keep up the hunt!

    that is a formerly encased cent from a "lucky penny". A pendant bezel wouldn't put that kind of pressure on the rim.
