I have coins from this era....but I got them from HH. Hey HH, will this coin be available through your store?
Any idea why the buyer didn't pay? I've spoken with other sellers on both Vcoins and Ebay who get so frustrated when someone bids but doesn't pay.
No, happens to me all the time that a buyer won't pay. Didn't know that an auction house would send it back to you though. Don't know if it is normal, I have had big problems selling with Vauctions. Hopefully that will change with Bill in command.
That Christopher gold coin I got recently was struck just before this one in the same century. 10th century Byzantine is not very tough, as Constantine VII struck a lot. However, for the rest of the world save China and Islamic, its a pretty tough century. I have a weird collection, with my Chinese coins and Byzantine, so centuries that are very difficult for most collectors are pretty easy for me.
Btw Steve, just to whet your appetite for a 10th century coin, here is mine I bought because of the name again.
Nice => very cool coin, medoraman ... hmmmm, you seem to have mega-game!! (well played, my friend ... yes, very well played!!) :thumb:
