I was looking through a roll of cents and one of the caught my eye. The coin is a regular 1973 D but it has a really pronounced rim. I was just wondering if this happens during the minting process or post mint? Thanks

Sometimes the rim does look more pronounced due to extra strike pressure or a slightly thicker planchet. But it could be post mint as well. Can you post a pic ?
