    Hello everyone!

I was wondering if these $2 bills were worth much? I inherited these from my great-grandfather.

Usually these postmarked "first day issues" sell in the $3 to $5 range, but not always... here's an auction for four that failed to sell at $15.99:

You can check eBay completed listings for more info on selling price. However, if your great-grandfather gave them to you, the value to you is priceless.

We weren't close... I would rather sell them to someone who can enjoy them more then I can, but thank you! :)

I read somewhere that the mint where they were printed have some factor on worth? I researched that these were printed in Kansas City.

Your notes were printed at the BEP in Washington DC.

I still find the postmarked bills in banks occasionally, when people fall on hard times they spend them. They are sort of neat if they are from your hometown though.
