    Constantius Gallus AE2 Sirmium mint. 351-354 AD. 5.0g, 21mm

OBV: DN CONSTANTIVS IVN NOB C. Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust right, Delta behind.

REV: FEL TEMP REPARATIO, Soldier spearing fallen horseman (bare-headed, reaching type), BSIRM in ex, A in center beneath horse.

    REF: RIC VIII Sirmium 45

A big thanks to Eng who gave me this coin along with some others. Sorry I took so long posting them. But anyways, this coin gave me a lot of problems in both shooting and attribution. lol

This is a coin where I narrowed down the details to get the mint city. I am far from certain what is in exergue. The combination of officinae marks, Delta to left of Gallus on the obverse. On the reverse, dot S dot. "A" below horse. I haven't seen that combination in any other city but it seems to match up in both Helvetica's Excel Spreadsheats and in RIC. Eng had it has Sirmium 41 and that is close, I have it as Sirmium 45. I could be wrong of course. Maybe some FEL TEMP specialists could help clear this up, hopefully?

I didn't think it was that good because I was having trouble shooting it. It does look better in-hand. It has a black glossy appearance on the obverse. The reverse is tough.
