I have been telling my girlfriend to join the forum for months now. Yet she continues to ignore me. She knows more then she admits to and is better at grading capped and old copper better then most. So i decided to post some mediocre photos of some of her type set. It is my only day off and i am bored.

I like the Lexington commemorative because it isnt to often you see them circulated this much

And that ends it. there are more coins. I didnt take a photo of the last page with the modern stuff, it is mostly proof except for the silver eagle. The morgan and peace are common au/unc. Her favorite ones are probably her classic head large cent and texas commemorative.

I love that set! I'm also working on a 7070 but mine isn't as nice. It's a tough set to complete. Is your girlfriend continually upgrading her pieces? I won't be upgrading any of my pieces until the set is complete. Thanks for sharing btw!

That's a substantial accomplishment there! I have been working on a slabbed type set for several years and I'm still not done yet. Thanks for sharing.

at first I thought these coins were/are so so. then I say that classic head cent. sweet grade there. I also liked that 2 cent piece. the seated coinage got my attention too. over all a nice set. I think it's awesome your girlfriend is into coins. mine just likes junk silver. and some foreign coins.

She has been working on it for about 4 years. She is currently in the process of up grading some of it. Right now most of her interest is going towards the capped dime set she is putting together. I agree I am lucky to have a girlfriend interested in coins. The best part is we both know different things so we are always asking for each others opinions.
