I know these have been asked about, and just a bit of an update, these coins do have the new mint mark on them, rolls are available, but it seems not from the mint directly, just coin stores, or if your lucky, a bank: 1c, 5c, 10c, 25c Caribou, 25c Bravery, $1, $2 10th anniv. 'solar bear', $2 single date So for anyone that has gotten any in your change, what have you gotten? Just curious, cause I know I'd like to pick up a few rolls of whatever is not too common. I've seen a lot of 25c Caribou & Bravery with the mint mark, some 10th anniv. toonies, a loonie, and thats it for me. I'm guessing the single-date toonie, 1c, and 5c will be the 'rare' ones. Any other thoughts on it? And as a side note, glad I didn't pick up any rolls of the 5c 'No P' which were supposed to be 'low mintage', every second nickel I'm getting in change is a 2006 no-p!
what does the new mint mark look like? I went through a bunch of change today. I found a nickel, and a dime with a little circle with a pointed thing inside. is this the new mint mark? they are both from 2006
It is a modified maple leaf that looks like an 'M' on top of a 'W' inside a circle. Some of you may recognise this if you are collecting Canadian Proof sets,as it is stamped on the outside of the cases. Aidan.
