I just acquired this lot - it's a 2004 penny and a penny blank in cello wrapping. Anyone seen one of these before? It looks professionally done, but I haven't been able to find any information online about it. Thanks!
The Denver Mint used to give these away at coin shows and occasionally to those taking a Mint tour. They were packaged the same as yours. By the way, the blank one is called a 'planchet', not a blank. A planchet has a raised rim whereas a blank does not.
