Okay, the holidays are here, If you could have anything (well, consider that to mean within reason, obviously no 1933 Double Eagles, 1804 Dollars, 1894 S Barber Dimes, etc.) what would you like to receive as a gift. I would like to opt for a VG (or better) 1901 S Barber Quarter. That would finish my quarter set. That or a time machine to go back & buy that 1901 S in G-6 that I passed on at $3,000, since that was the VG price at the time. Frank
Ed: If you are asking for a metal detector, ask for a White's DFX, expensive, but worth every extra cent. Good luck, with Santa. Frank
I just bought myself an X-Mas coin yesterday. I won't tell what it is yet, but after I send it to ANACS I'll show it off.
Easy. Problem-free 1796 half cent, or 1802 reverse of 1800 half cent, or 1811 reverse of 1802 half cent (AKA the Mickley Restrike). There are other delicious varieties, but the latter two would be absolutely wonderous. Fish
