Very Cool! If ANACS didn't offer slabbing Dan Carr coins, they would never had got my business to begin with. I just sent in 13 more Kennedy overstrike "high grades" to be added to the 5 that I already own. Smart move on their part, IMO
They did a good job and I like the holders. They'll be easier to deal with now and better protected. The Kennedy looks awesome, it's my favorite. Good luck with your grades !! Do they give 70s on these?
I already received them back with my last order. Of the 13, 12 went 69 and 1 went 67. Of my other 5, 4 went 69 and 1 went 68. I'm not positive if they grade 70 or not, but from my small sample of 18 coins; I would say that they do not. I also think it's cool how Dan signs the insert and that gets semi-protected inside the slab in regards to preservation. I also like their holders (ANACS) and I have found the PERFECT storage box to keep them in: https://www.whitman.com/store/Inventory/Detail/Whitman-Slab-Storage-Box-Universal-Deluxe
They fit perfect and snug...also, they fit PCGS slabs as well (after you break it in a little with an ANACS slab).
On my Uncle Scam coin I think there are 2 mistakes. They have it labeled MS69 DCAM and the obverse is facing the wrong way...
I have DC's "the defiant finger tower" brass dollar coin. I have already posted these pics in the "let's see your exonumia!" thread. I hope this coin does not offend anyone. I found it amusing.
I just now saw this thread, ANACS is pretty clever to include the DC coins/medals for grading and the holders actually look great! Congrats on the grades Chief, those are some COOL pieces! :hail:
