Howdy;:welcome: I love Lincolns !!!!!:yes:YES and the world knows it, but I also have a passion for the Buffalo series so that is why I decided to post my 1935 DDR. "Sharing is Caring".... I don't exactly know the particular Die so all experts I need your help in figuring this one out!!!! 1935 Buffalo Nickel DDR 1935 Buffalo Nickel DDR ( Five Cents Doubled ) 1935 Buffalo Nickel DDR ( United States of America ) Spear in back running threw the P (Pluribus )
You always want to look for the doubling first, not the markers. For example, 1909P-1DO-002 has a die chip in LIBERTY as a marker for the DDO. However, there have been many cases where people have attempted to cherrypick this coin because they see that marker, only to receive it and realize that it doesn't have the doubling. So there are coins that DO have similar or the dame die markers, but not the doubling, which is why you always look for the doubling, not the markers.:smile
I did but wrote short. But U do it Your way and I will do My way. I know my way works 70% of the time. Markers were Ok here. http://www.cointalk.com/t228594/
