I was not exactaly coin roll hunting but going through roughly $8 of change I have collected over the last 6 months. I was woking on a filling a album with my kids and ran across a 1970-s "large date I think". Then when getting the last out the pennys out of the coin holder in my car I found another 1970 s but this one has the s more centered and the date seems thiner and level what do you think?

The mintmarks were added to the working dies by hand, so you will see the mintmark position vary from coin to coin. It has nothing to do with the small/large date variety.
Your pictures are too small to really be able to tell anything, unfortunately.

This should be better, I don't know why they were so small.

Both are definitely the more common large date.
    Keep up the hunt!

You know now that I look at them in the photo it is easyer to see that they are the same, I guess I was focased on the thickness of the 0.
