I wanted to know if this is a DDO 1974d Ike Dollar or is it mechanical doubling that makes it look this way? Specifically I am talking about the IN GOD WE TRUST part. Also, I think the date may show some notching. I welcome all opinions! Thanks!

Yes, it's machine doubling. Here's picture as sample of true DDO. (Half Dollar)

It kind of looks like some extra thickness on IGWT, maybe from a MD (Master Die)...19Lyds (Lee) knows IKE Dollars very well, maybe he will reply.

This is a doubled die. It looks like possibly a combination of class 6 and maybe class 2 or 5. It does also have some MD going on, but it's a DDO nonetheless. I am not familiar with the series, so it could very well be that it's a doubled master die or working hub. I'll let someone else answer that.

    Thanks Larry!

It looks like a split on the E in WE but I'd lean more towards Master Die doubling.

Lee, my name is Steve and I wanted to know if this coin would be the one listed as IDDDO-MD2 74D? If not, can you please tell me what it is listed as?
    Thanks for the help!
