WOW! Those are pretty expensive. Especially the Double Eagle....

Look again - none of them sold "on EBay". They all went to live floor bidders, who were attending the auction.

 That is some serious change! I wonder if I can cherrypick any similar specimens at the next Coin Show?

I wonder if someone is going to use them as stocking stuffers this Christmas?

    Hmm.......nice!
Too bad they didn't have a buy-it-now, with a best offer!
Maybe I could have snuck in an offer... Do you think that they'd have taken a
    whole $100?
    Of course I mean each!
    Nice

Hmmm... Heritage Auction Galleries. 49 total negative, 24 neutral and 21 negative in the past 12 months, feedback rating 98.6%... If this was ANYBODY else, would anyone here even look at their auctions? Sadly, I could only have gone as high as $478,983.17 for that Double Eagle

The only people who will every get richer by investing in coins are the ones that are already wealthy.

I have never won a coin from this ID, but I am assuming hnai(or hnai.com) and heritageauctiongalleries are both from Heritage coin auctions. I have won about 3 coins from heritage all together and so far I have not had a problem, but I am still waiting for one coin. Then again it has only been 3 days since I won the coin and I do not expect a problem. For the right coin at the right price I can be very patient.

Can we all just take a moment to be Frank, here?

Sorry, I've been fighting the urge to do that for a while now.

Darn those Coin Country guys! "We're gonna resell them for $17,000,000-- small markup."

Those prices are as crazy as when I looked up the Playstation 3 on the Bay-- Buy It Nows at $500,000-- live bids at $6,000-- those nerds need a life. Much like myself...

Anyone of them could buy a pretty nice house in Salt Lake City.
