    Hey all,

Long time no see... been neglecting my coins in lieu of other activities.

Went to a garage sale and bought a small batch of silver coins and asked if I could grab his handful of wheaties (all the coins belonged to his mom and have been sitting in a box for decades), this is what I found:

This mark looks like a 1953D-1MM-001... but the die markers don't seem to be there. I found a faint line going South from the R in TRUST and I see something that may be the gouge on the reverse, but I'm not fully convinced I have this ID'd properly. Think this could be an EDS and therefore the markers just aren't there?

Either way, thrilled to pieces! This is one of the coolest finds I've had.

    Curious to hear your insights!

Thanks! Mostly Liberty Halves and and mercuries... all common and in average condition. He said he has another stash that he can't find, so hoping for the best!
