Korean 5 fun over china copper coin

    I have an unusual coin that seems to be stuck Korean on one side and chinese on the other.Is this rare and what is the value?

    As best I can tell from the images, your coin is a standard 5 fun coin minted in 1895.

    Korean coins at the time used both Chinese characters and Hangul (Korean) in the inscriptions.

    Two types of 5 fun coins were minted in 1895. Please compare your coin with the the second 1895 coin at this website.

    I'm sorry but I do not know the coin's current value.

    Thank you for your information,as I spend time learning about these coins it is amazing to find facts about the language and how characters can cross over!
