what happened

    Whats with this quarter looks like the circle in the back is on the front too

    The machine that closes paper rolls do that. It's very common in euro coins here.

    I agree with stefy. It's not supposed to happen, but on occasion a machine that's out of adjustment will "gouge" the coin in a circular fashion as it rolls over the top or bottom edge of the wrapper.

    Theyre correct about the machine, but the reverse of national park quarters have that circle, so thats normal

    What's weird is the circle on the front lines up with the one on the back its almost like it punched to far through kinda weird how this stuff happens sometimes
