That is crazy, the seller should send a message to the buyer to reassure that they are empty boxes. It would save him lots of time and headache if the buyer thought they were getting coins.

Wow, I just dredged this up during a search, and discovered two surprises: 1) The original listing is still reachable on eBay, almost two years after it ended! It looks like it was re-listed, and that listing is gone. I'm amazed that any auctions are retained this long. 2) That other auction of 7 empty boxes for $63.77? He got positive feedback for it -- "Good deal"! (Seller is coinb1000; he's got 100% positive feedback over the last year.)
