I found this quarter with a circle engraved in it. Is there any significance? i am brand new to paying attention to coins other than spending them so please forgive any ignorance in my questions.
you should search "dryer coin", it is likely that this coin spent some time stuck inside the dryer, the rotation scratches the coin a given distance from the edge. Either that or from a coin roller.
