Howdy;:welcome::hail: I have a passion for Error coins, but none feeds my hunger better than the Lincoln Series .Threw the years I have personally sought and found many Errors in my collection that I share with you all today. I would like to share the 1968 s DDO 1, 1969 s DDO a new ,,1972 s DDO 1, and the 1973 P DDO, and many more . I invite you to image search at <a href="http://s1335.photobucket.com/user/doubledieking18/media/20130504_173329_zpsdddc5680.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1335.photobucket.com/albums/w673/doubledieking18/20130504_173329_zpsdddc5680.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 20130504_173329_zpsdddc5680.jpg"/></a> :thumb: Peace;
You already posted these... Sorry, but I don't see any indication of a doubled die. Keep up the hunt!
the spread is a NE clockwise spread on In God We Trust not anywhere near the strength of the DDO 1 1969 s , also a lit spread is N on liberty, and the date ...Check it out . Peace;:yes:
Still not seeing any indications of doubling. You need straight-on pictures of the coin, not photos taken at an angle.
Thanx for the advise :smile. I will try to take some better images in better light. Also I uploaded the 1968 s DDO ,1970 s DDO, and the 1973 DDO very rare as well the 1972 s DDO all in my album on photobucket. Check he others out.... Peace;
All those pictures you POSTED are real BAD! Got an Headache already...Maybe you need to get a BETTER CAMERA. Thank you.. Keep trying to get a better close up of all the visible details of 1969S Double Die KING? which is you think is very important to share with us.
I 'am currently using my Galaxy s 3 camera to take pictures. I 'am thinking I may have to invest in a Macro Camera.
non-cents are you an expert in Doubled die or Errors ? Just asking ...... Because if you are I wouldlike to see some of your own DDO/DDR out of your collection!!!! :rollling: Honestly the images that show on photobucket are not as focused as I would have wanted them to be ...But I'm currently fixing the problem and still sharing no matter what...
From another party, I would say yes, Simon has knowledge on doubled die varieties. He is after all a variety collector and very active on the Lincolncentresource.net forum.
Okay I was just checking! Simon is alright with me !!!! #I just need to find a better form of taking photos and posting Thanx for the clarification :thumb:
Here's one of my favorite doubled dies I pulled out of some bulk wheats...1941P-1DO-001, a class I (and possibly tilted) doubled die.:thumb:
Oops, I think I confused this thread with the "share your varieties" thread. Maybe a kind mod could move my posts for me?
Those all are some nice finds !!! :yes: I like how your images came out clear, and now I see what you were trying to inform me on being able to see detail clearly .... What type of camera do you have or what photo image program do you use? So I can be able to achieve the same thats why I haven't been able to post any pics... Help me out.... And also I appreciate your honesty and knowledge of . Thanx;:thumb:
I use a microscope on 20X to get the clear closeup shots, and photograph with a point-and-shoot digital camera through the lens. For searching, I would invest in a cheap USB microscope. You can find quite a few around the internet for $50 or less. Otherwise, I would try holding up a loupe to the camera/phone lens and try snapping a picture through that. My pictures that I take are very close up and very clear. You shouldn't need pictures that close/clear to be able to decipher doubling. Keep up the hunt!
My galaxy s has a macro button, i found it the other day...couldn't find it again though I bet! lol but if you keep playing around with the settings options you can find it too!
