I just stumbled across this the other day, and figured I'd share a pic or two. I think its a very cool piece. Berzelius was Swedish and was the father of modern chemistry.
I forgot to mention, this is made of bronze. Is there any 100% safe solvent (no not water...) to use on bronze to attempt to remove the corrosion spots, or should I leave it as is?
Cool Chemist Coin Berzelius Day is celebrated on August 20th in honour of him. I do not know of any chemistry that will remove the spots.
