1981 un peso ddr?

I wanted to know if this is a DDR or is it mechanical doubling/die deterioration doubling? Thanks.

I'm hardly an expert on world coins but it certainly looks like mechanical doubling.

This is a die deterioration doubling, which is most common with Mexican coinage that is minted at the Mexico City Mint.

 

With only one mint to supply a nation of 80~100 million people, quality control takes a back seat to quantity.
