Did anyone see the Fine Coin Showcase tonight on Celebrity Shopping Network? They were selling $5 Liberty's for $599. They were AU 55s in NGC holders with the GSA label. Said there were a total of 5,000 GSA gold coins in the hoard and they bought 4,500 of them. They will be periodically selling them on their shows. Said they have $20, $10, $5 and $2 1/2 coins. I think they had 75 or so and apparently sold them all. Does anything think the GSA label will result in a premium for these coins on the open market? I guess I missed out if the answer is yes because I did not purchase one.

I am sure that for enough money they (the owners) can get someone to slab labels whatever they want. However, they forgot to mention that GSA = George's Super Assets. Nah, there wasn't anything like that from the GSA. 09S-V.D.B.: Thanks for the link, very educational. Frank
