I was searching some dime rolls when I found this dime. Can anybody tell me if this is an mint error?

I'm gonna go with off-center (slightly).

Thanks for the info. I also have another one like it. It's the one that I used as an avatar picture.

    This is an uncentered broadstrike.

Dumb question, but can you guys explain how to tell the difference? Thanks.

Because the design is fully present. An off-center strike of that magnitude would have cut into the design elements. On this coin, the design elements on the opposing rim are still the normal distance from the rim.

A broadstrike, by definition, is a coin struck outside the collar. Therefore a broadstrike will not have a struck edge and is usually somewhat larger in diameter than a normal coin (because the collar was not there to restrain the coin from expanding in that direction).

An off-center is a coin struck in the collar but with both dies off center when they struck the coin.

    Hope that helps.
