V nickel question

    Were there V Nickels minted in San Francisco in 1908? I googled 1908s nickel and 1908s v nickel and nothing came up. Thanks for the help.

    I think they were just minted in Philly

    All Liberty Nickels were struck at the Philadelphia Mint until 1912 (the last official year they were struck). In 1912 the Denver and San Francisco Mints joined the Philadelphia Mint in striking Liberty Nickels. (This info can be found in your Red Book.)

    The 1912S is one of the keys in the series. Second only to the 1885.
