Interesting the BEP should come up with this after skipping 2012. Nice that it has 2003a and 2009 series notes.
I noticed that too. I wonder if there will be other SF $2 collectibles upcoming. So far the only uncut sheets have been NY.
Looking at the image on the BEP website, the 2009 $2 in the set appears to be from the L..A block, which would make it part of the circulation printing (which went up to L38400000A). So it's not even a special collector-only printing. Combine that with the fact that the J..D note in the set is from the same printing as the "2011" and "2012" J..D $2's, and I don't really see any reason to buy this set if you've already got one of those prior J..D issues. (Then again, I said the same about the "2013" I..D note in the Founding Fathers set, and that one sold out right quick, so obviously not everyone thinks like I do.) I do like the packaging of the 2013 Double Deuce Set, based on the back design of the Series 1886 Hancock deuce. But I'm not paying $35 to get cool packaging.
Now that you mention that, I notice the 2009 $2 for the 150th Anniversary Currency Set is the same scenario with the notes pulled from circulation B..A block.
I wonder why they chose to make the packaging so much larger that the last double deuce set Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 4 Beta
So 3 of us bought a set each. I think the other 4,997 sets were sold to dealers - there's already a bunch up on ebay, even a pre-sale at $80!?!!?? Why would anyone have done that, I wonder...
