Hi All, I'd really appreciate your help identifying this gold coin which has been turned into a jewelry piece. It weighs 7.5 grams and has the diameter of a quarter. My best guess is a 2 Reales, but I am not sure. Or what year? Any input would be much appreciated.

2 reales from Peru, 1728, Lima mint, ruler Phlip V, KM32.
Weight 6,766 gr., .931 silver (the weight of gr. 7.50 can be compatible because of the pendant).

    Obv.: columns crowned on waves
Rev.: cross with castles and lions

If it seems gold, maybe is plated (or fake, but would be strange in gold).

Thanks petronius. This is just what I needed. I will be sure to take it in to get checked out. It really feels heavy for its size, so it may be gold, but it may be plated. Cheers!
