I was at the bank last week and asked if they had any $2's. I do this once a year and give nieces/nephews notes on birthdays/special occasions. I was given a BU strap of 2003A notes with serial numbers E00088501A-E00088600A. I thought it was cool to have a BU strap of low serial number consecutive notes. Unfortunately, there were no stars at the end. I doubt they are worth anything more than face. Maybe Im wrong....any insight to what I have? Thanks
Well... according to ebay... http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trk...0.TRC0&_nkw=2+dollar+bills&_sacat=0&_from=R40 you might be able to get away with selling them a little over face value, especially with the lower serial.
I had a strap like that and asked a dealer about it. He said he could get them at a bank same as me. Face value.
it's a nice pickup but they are readily available. i use to work at a bank and had a bunch of customers asking for full straps. we would get them with no problem. :thumb:
