Hello, newbie here. Can anyone tell me where to find total numbers minted for US Coins, regular and commemorative? What about the same for Canadian coins?
    Thanks,

As far as mintages for US coins, the Whitman "Red Book" is the most readily available source. You can pick it up at just about any bookstore with a hobby section.

The book lists total mintages for each year (including proof) for all the coins it lists. I just doesn't list the last couple of years due to the mintage figures not being finalized yet.

The Guide Book (red book) is probably the best source for the type of information that you are searching for.
However, remember that the pricing is out of date, but very interesting from a historical perspective.

Charlton's Canadian Coins serves the same function for Canada that the Red Book does for the US, including listing mintages.
