I'll start with the Nevada state quarter. Why horses? When I think of Nevada, I think Las vegas and Hoover Dam.

Wild Wild West days of old perhaps? Days when the roads were dirt Reno was a prince of a city, and six shooters were the law?

    Yeah.

I actually think as far as design goes, Nevada is one of the better state quarters. I for one certainly wouldn't want to see Las Vegas on a coin.
Now if you want to talk about bad state quarters, I beleive there are alot of better candidates than Nevada.
For example, New Hampshire. I like the states motto. Its "live free or die", isn't it? But the design sucks. It took me forever just to figure out what it was.

Yeah, the New Hampshire design is kind of stupid. Also, the "old man of the mountain" depicted on it collapsed a few years ago.... =/

To me, Florida has the worst design so far. Just too plain.

Wisconsin and Florida where low point for me, they look like a bunch of clip-art thrown on a coin. blegh.

My fav. is the Texas because of its simplicity and straight forward design. I may be a little biased since i live in Texas, but i am not a native ;)

Since I also collect O-Gauge trains, I am going to like the Utah quarter.

i liked virginia, new york, & maine. i disliked connecticut, vermont, s.carolina, n.carolina, & kentucky. overall, statehood designs were mostly ugly. i loved american eagle. the only one.

When I see a Nevada quarter with the wild mustangs I think of the 1960 movie "The Misfits" where Clark Gable and Montgomery Clift are rounding up wild mustangs to be sold as dog food.

Yup. dog food, that is equal to most of the designs.

The Mustang Ranch, first legal house of prostitution in Nevada, the only state in the union where prostitution is legal.

Ah, so advertising is legal on the coins?

Looking at all these actually, It's hard to find a bad state quarter design.

I personally think the Maryland Quarter design is one of the blandest, there are alot of them that are tied for second!

I dislike the plain ones like the one listed above, But one of the ones I like Is Utah, not that i really have all 50 quarters, Does anyone here have a set of all 50? I certainly will try to collect all of them

Must be, look at Virginia. They used their quarter to advertise their upcoming four hundredth anniversary of settlement celebration that wasn't going to occur for something like SEVEN YEARS IN THE FUTURE! They got seven years of free advertising, and now they are getting a commemorative silver dollar too to provide funding for the event.
