    that's a bank token, the new foundland tokens were currency though hence them having proper Km's rather than km Tn. They are similar in a way to the British conder token but they are from pre federated Canada so really varied from colony to colony :)

    It will have circulated as currency no doubt but it was never officially recognised :)
