Does anyone have a link that shows the reverse designs for Euro coins? Different members have different reverses. (i.e., Ireland shows a harp)
There are, I think, five countries that have both joined the Eurozone and issued circulating coinage since the linked website was put together. These countries are Malta, Cyprus, Slovenia, Slovakia, and Estonia. While I have never seen a coin from one of those countries in circulation when I've been in the Eurozone, the coins do circulate and sooner or later they may turn up in change. I own a year set for all five countries. In addition, I expect Euro coins from the Netherlands to change their design sooner instead of later, as they have very recently installed a new king. Finally, you will see the occasional circulating 2 Euro commemorative if you hang out in Europe long enough. I've gotten them in change in both Germany and Spain.
Right, that British website is a little dated. Here are images of the euro and cent coins, from the website of the European Commission: http://ec.europa.eu/economy_finance/euro/cash/common/index_en.htm That page also has the newer "map" side (which by the way is the common reverse) of the coins.
