1924 and 1927 wheat cents

    Grade/ Value? Found them Coin roll hunting, wasn't sure if I should put it in the coin roll hunting thread or What's it Worth thread.

    Wow, that was a quick reply! I really have no idea, I just thought it might hold a premium over other Wheat cents since its in the 20's, not the 40's or 50's

    They have a slight premium over 40's and 50's, but not too much. Probably 4c-5c a piece.

    thanks. I guess there hole fillers, for my album that is, but the 1924 doesnt even fit in my Whitman album! It keeps falling out its too big, its so frustrating!

    I thought you stopped getting into copper cents because it's "so hard to deal in them". ;)
    You have some common date wheats in average condition, they are probably best used as "hole fillers" until. You upgrade to a better grade.

    These aren't your average copper cents, im talking about the 1959-1982 copper cents, those are hard to deal with and I doubt they'll let melting of cents unless it gets discontinued. kinda obviously since wheat cents are almost always worth more than copper value even by that tiny bit, so I personally dont consider them copper cents cause copper cents that I know off are only worth copper value.
