Does anyone else regret selling a coin that later became a favorite?

My 1794 Large cent is on the DNS list, I guess the kids would have to be shoeless and starving then I might sell it. I haven't really sold too many coins though, banknotes though I sold a large collection of early Irish banknotes that I wish I hadn't.

  3. LOL, yep you missed a couple. Lincoln cents. That collection has ground to a halt, I'm pretty much down to the SUPER key dates, I don't have 3 grand to drop on a 1909 S VDB or a 55 d/d or a 22 no D LOL. Also Morgans and Mercs, the mercs are on going, Morgans are getting over priced. Ireland, Iceland, Norway and now Franklins are moving ahead :D.

All my regrets are from buying coins not up to standard, and sometimes buying coins which turned out to be substandard once in hand. Yes most people return these things but I am not a person who returns things. So it's all my own fault, and the first issue is something that's supposed to be resolved once you have enough experience. I'm still waiting for that to happen [IMG]
