1927 Peace Dollar

Today, for $25, including the plastic. I'll remove it and retake pics if requested.

I'll stick my neck out and (using my new book: Ruddy's Photograde) call it an EF-40 or better.

My lighting is poor: coin is dead white, no toning at all.

How'd I do?

Looks harshly cleaned to me. XF details. Still a good deal though.

I agree it's been harshly cleaned. All of it's luster is gone. I would grade it Ef 40 Details. It's only worth melt value which is $18.50.

 

Except if you sell it on eBay. Then it's worth $30+.
