You're also going to have to explain what you see in every picture. I gave up being a mind-reader some time ago.

Could be some sort of strike-through on the last couple of dimes, but as Rick so kindly mentioned, it's difficult to tell from your pics.

Try bringing the lens a little closer to the coins ;)

What? I actually use a 24 megapixel Nikon D3200 since i'm a professional automotive photographer. You have to view the photos in the lightbox though, not the new tab that pops up because the resolution makes them pixely through that weird program. The are downsides to large files for internet use.

I'm stuck with an 18-55 at the moment so i cant exactly do that because my camera wont allow me to take the photos closer. Sorry about that. I plan to get a new lens within the next month but it's $750.

    What I see is PMD.

For now i'll say what i see in them.

1-weird blur of the "me" at the end of dime and looks of perforations.
2-lack of any shine and the perforation/pore patterns.
penny-it's small enough to fit in a dime roll and has a weird flattenned edge.
4-large "me" in the word "dime".
5-smoothenned or unsruck area at the bottom of the rear picture.
6-"united states" area blurred and perforated weirdly.
    7-edges are slanted and smoothenned.

They all look like worn coins to me. Some have pmd also.

p.s. #7.... that 1985 dime is very typical of the strikes for that year (and a couple years around it too... like 1983 and 1984). The bowl shape is how the mint did the majority of those.

Oh, i had found a couple others similar to #7 but that one was the most extreme example in the box.

I was thinking the two most odd issue ones i found were #2 and #6. The rest i was kinda expecting to be PMD.

    thanks everybody!
