Do you think this is counterfeit?

I came across this coin last week and have been trying to figure out what looks off to me. Do you think this coin is counterfeit? It is the super-rare "Shallow N" variety. Many proofs from this year had the shallow N as well, but this does not look much like a proof to me.

The denticles on the obverse look very weak. These are the only pics I have.

I'm not liking the mushy denticles on the lower reverse.

It doesn't look counterfeit to me.

 

Coin looks OK to me too. Usually dont see bronze disease develop on a fake often.

 

Why is the front of the neck almost invisible? Is that another aspect of the "shallow N" die variety too?

 

Kind of odd now that you point that out...
