thank you. I'm planning on selling it on fee bay as a "beginners kit to coin collecting" and put it at auctions with it starting at 12.9% above face so I lose 0 money.
Ok why would you sell it? arnt your like 11!!!!also if you want to sell it just take it to the closet coin shop. And will 12.9% over pay for shipping to any place?
Yep... you have to be 18 to open an account on eBay; but as many of the YN's do, they have their parents take care of that. I believe that for a beginner's collection like the OP has, a yard sale or flea market might be the best venue. However, I would reconsider selling. I sold my collection in 1969 in order to finance my first marriage. I regret doing both.
I stopped getting into copper cents. So hard to deal in them. Is this your ENTIRE collection? If so, Im pretty impressed in my own collection.
I don't understand the point of this comment...why are you competing about how nice your collection is? It's kind of rude don't you think. It also only serves to discourage other collectors. Plus, if I remember right...aren't you like 11 or 12. So, I would hazard a guess that compared to most members here yours probably isn't anything too fancy either.
There seems to be consistency with him making rude naive comments towards others like in this example.
