Steel, or Iron; "GUEBWILLER ALSACE" & "BON POUR 1/2 LITRE TERUEL" (Those are in French, I think)

    G. Torres is an arguably Spanish name, so perhaps an importer of Spanish wines into France?

I'll go lookin' for Teruel, and for Guebwiller...gotta be somethin' Wonderful about anyone bringin' Spanish Tinto into France, eh?

    Great token!

Yes, it's in French. VINS D'ESPAGNE would be the name of his business, simply: Spanish Wines. GUEBWILLER, ALSACE is the location of his business. BON POUR 1/2 LITRE TERUEL means "Good for half a liter of Teruel", Teruel presumably being the name of a particular wine made in the Spanish city of the same name.

Thanks, Christian! I wonder, now: which came first?

How did you find it...simple Google search, or?

Basically Google, yes. ;) But I was confused first, because Torres is also a relatively well known wine company name: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bodegas_Torres And I don't know whether the name on that token refers to the city or region, or to the company. Maybe others can shed more light on this ...
