I don't know what this is, but the crest doesn't match anything I recognize. The pattern on the reverse is similar to the Grand Duchy of Poland, and the monogram is similar to that of Denmark's Frederick VI. Anyone recognize this?
Don't actually recognize it, but I am pretty sure the coin is from Württemberg. Edit - The three lions were apparently added in 1806. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coat_of_arms_of_Württemberg ... and the "F" monogram suggests Friedrich: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frederick_I_of_Württemberg Christian
Thanks - that helps. I'm thinking it's a 6 Kreuzer... unfortunately the date area is pretty badly worn. http://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces15814.html
Close examination yields a tentative 1809... So, the question of the thread - how much is this work? What are the mintages of the different years (or, if unknown, does the catalog pricing suggest that 1809 is a key date or a common one)?
