I am also no expert on these. The picture has a glare to it, but just comparing pictures it looks ok. http://www.pcgscoinfacts.com/Coin/Detail/9254?redir=t And mph, I'm not really going to take a stab at the grade, but it does look uncirculated but this is the first time I have looked at this coin for any length of time, so my eyes may be fooling me.
looks cleaned to me. it's way to shiny. still a gorgeous coin. I like the bridge side best.:too-cool-for:
It's no doubt had a quick dip, but the surfaces are original and in my estimation might make a 66 grade. There's very few scratches, especially on the bear in which I've seen numerous examples of this coin with little marks, etc.
I think it could be so bright & shiny because its been clean or polished heavily. Also maybe a dipped out coin as well. But than again, this could be an illusion created by the camera and/or its flash. Hard to truly say without the coin in one's own hand. I really like the obverse on this coin, the reverse is very busy. Nice coin though! I believe it's value could be safely stated at $190-210 from looking at these pics...
The coin is real, and it has been improperly cleaned - likely dipped, but done right. Value? Maybe two hundo
