    The average wheat is worth 4 cents.

    Still not a bad buy if your looking for, or are a Lincoln Variety or cherry picker.

    thanks. however, it is the cheapest "unsearched" wheat cent roll on ebay i could find.

    .04x.50=2.00-5.00=-3.00.
    3 is what the extra i'de have to pay.

    you cant really find a "unsearched" roll on ebay because the thing is they all are most likely searched, even though they say they are not.

    at least the guy is honest. and not "bought them in rolkls from someone who had them for years, found a 1909 s vdb which does show they are unsearched."

    Because he actually says he didn't find them some crazy way serves him not justice in my opinion. Makes him no different than any of the others on eBay selling these "deals."

    They are not unsearched. Somewhere down the line these were searched.

    Of course they were, why else wouldn't there be any Memorial or Indian cents possible in there as well. They just so happen to be all Wheats? :rollling:

    Try going to your LCS, I'm almost positive they will sell you common wheat cents for less that 15 cents a piece.

    I've gotten bulk wheat for a lot less than 15 cents apiece, from a friend that has a huge hoard unsearched for varieties. Ebay isn't always the greatest for deals like that.

    Just because its the cheapest on eBay doesn't make it a good price. And if you are doing it for investment do you really want to be paying .15 cents for common wheats worth .03-.05 cents each? If you want to do it for investment just roll search cents and you might find more that just wheats.

    I think that is your best bet unless you can find someone with a lot at a decent price. Going into an investment already in the hole is not a good idea. Just think about it this way. Those common wheats are worth about .03 - .05 cents each and that is over 60 years ago. So in 180 years they might be worth .09 - .15 each. Obviously that may not be accurate projections, but I am sure you get where I am going with that.

    that is based off of if the cent is still around. wheat cents can still be found roll searching, when they get rid of the cent, were will people get wheaties? ebay, coinshows, coindealers, ect.
