Old silver coin from Egypt?

    Is this an Egyptian coin from the Ottoman Empire era? What year...what denomination..what condition?

    Your coin is indeed an Egyptian coin from the Ottoman era. It is a coin with the denomination of 1 qirsh. You can see the year of enthronement of sultan Abdul Hamid II 1293 AH (=1876) and also that this coin was minted in the third year of his reign (=1878)
    Your coin is listed in Krause as Egypt KM#277 and the catalog value is F:2.50$/VF:8.00$/XF:15$

    IMHO the rim is too worn to qualify as anything bettr than F.
