It's an '88 reverse. Something that helped me with these was I saved a bunch of '89's to compare the 88's to. After seeing enough of both dates IDing them was a snap.
I will find one of these.....if it kills me. Which it probably will. The serif on the G was what got me to post it. The bottom of the G also looked a little square. When you are dealing with these zinc cents, you can find extra dots and dashes all over the place. Sometimes these (zinc zits) end up in places that throw a person when hunting for a variety.
Definitely an 005 you got there...when you find the 006 it will stick out like a sore thumb. Keep up the hunt!
